Refusing a Shipment

If you have requested a return but the scooter has shipped out before the cancellation could be made, we will attempt to stop this shipment with the courier. However, if the courier is not able to stop this shipment in time, the scooter will be delivered to you. You have the option to refuse the shipment when the courier service attempts delivery, and this will reroute the package back to our facilities. We treat this scenario the same as a return.

In this case, your eligible refund will be:

Price of Scooter - Restocking Fee - Initial Shipping Fee - Return Shipping Fee.

 

You have received the scooter, have not used it, and would like to return

If the scooter remains unused and the packaging unopened (brand new) and is within 14 days of the delivery date, our team will gladly help with the return process. For eligible items, you can email support@splach.bike.

Example Case: Refused Shipment or Unused Return

You purchased a SPLACH Titan for $1,399 and you refuse the shipment when it arrives. The carrier will reroute the package to SPLACH.

OR

You purchased a SPLACH Titan for $1,399 and you accept the shipment when it arrives. A few days later, before using the scooter, you change your mind about the purchase and want to return the scooter to SPLACH.

$1,399 (Price of Scooter) - $210 (Restocking Fee) - $179 (Initial Shipping Fee) - $69 (Return Shipping Fee) = $941

 

You have received the scooter and used or opened the package, but would like to return it.

We DO NOT accept returns of used or opened products. Please leverage our social media posts or YouTube channel to educate yourself on the available options before committing to a purchase.

If your scooter is having issues and has been used, rest assured our SPLACH customer service team will assist you with after-sales issues and provide solutions to restore your scooter to normal working condition.

If, upon inspection, your scooter has been ridden, you will be responsible for return shipping and the item will not be eligible for return. 

 

We do not accept any returns of used scooters due to the depreciation in value a scooter gets once it travels (even if just 0.5 mile). SPLACH makes this policy clear on our website and invests heavily in content to show consumers the performance, ride quality and specifications of scooters through YouTube videos and review done by the third party online to help customers with online purchase decision. If there’s still any dissatisfaction with the scooter, we recommend reselling the scooter at some marketplaces such as Ebay or Facebook Marketplace.

All unused products may be returned within 14 days of delivery. Before returning your SPLACH product, please contact support@splach.bike to receive your return authorization and begin the return process.

All products purchased through our website must fullfill these conditions in order to be entitled for a return/exchange. Non-domestic orders (international orders) are not entitled for returns/exchange, due to the high cost of logistics and air shipping.
Our return/exchange policy applies to domestic (United States) orders only.

  • We determine the riding speed, range, and hill climbs based on a standard 165 lb rider, and performance will vary based on rider weight, riding style, battery charge/condition, and road conditions. Make sure the electric scooter you choose has adequate power given your size and location. Returning or exchanging an electric scooter because it is too slow is not a valid reason.

 

All returned product must be in the following conditions in order to be considered for return

Proof of unopened items will need to be verified with photos and submitted to support@splach.bike

  1. Unopened & unused product: the package remains unopened and the product inside is never used nor ridden in any manner.
  2. In the original packaging with all necessary components in the original box.
  3. All accessory pieces remain intact, including manuals, chargers, and any other additional pieces included in the box.
  4. SPLACH is not responsible for the shipping cost of the package returned by the customers themselves. Buyer should pay for the cost of initial & return shipping as well as a 15% restocking fee. (Note that shipping can be expensive due to the bulky and heavy package of an e-scooter or e-bike)
  5. We will process your refund in 5 business days after receiving your returned product.

If the product is in acceptable condition as outlined above, SPLACH will grant a refund. If there is evidence of riding, we will not accept your return.

  

Cancellation

Cancellation request submitted within 24 hours upon order placement will be subject to a 5% handling cost charged by the on-line platform. Cancellation requests submitted after the first 24 hours will be subject to a 15% restocking fee.

  1. Cancellation before shipping (Purchased but not shipped) is subject to a 15% restocking fee.
  2. Pre-Orders Cancellations: all pre-orders are only eligible for an 85% refund of the total order price.
  3. After the tracking number is generated and provided, cancellation is not acceptable.
