How to Unfold and Fold the Twin, Twin Plus II, and Turbo Elite

How to Unfold and Fold the Twin, Twin Plus II, and Turbo Elite

The locking mechanism has been upgraded to reduce wobbling, keeping the scooter stable and safe on the road, especially at higher speeds. As a result, you may find it a bit tight or difficult to unfold and fold the scooter at first, but this is completely normal and part of the safer design.

Unfolding Instructions

Step 1: Pull the “folding handle” on the scooter neck with one hand while using the other hand to lift the stem and push it forward simultaneously. You will hear a "click" sound when the folding system reaches the correct position.

Tip: If the stem feels tight, try one of the following methods:

  • Push the stem slightly forward and press the folding handle.
  • Alternatively, place your foot on the footrest and push the stem forward quickly and firmly.

Step 2: Move the “safety folding pin” on the side of the scooter neck upward/downward and align it with the metal latch to prevent the scooter from accidentally folding.

Step 3: Release the “stem lock” to adjust the T-bar’s position up or down according to the rider’s height. Once adjusted, firmly secure the “stem lock.”

Step 4:
Unfold the T-bar.

Folding Instructions

Step 1: Move the “folding rings” on both sides of the handlebar as shown in the picture above, then fold both sides downward.

Step 2:
Release the “stem lock” and adjust the T-bar’s position to its lowest setting.

Step 3: Move the “safety folding pin” on the side of the scooter neck upward/downward.

Step 4:
Use one hand to pull the “folding handle” and the other hand to pull the stem simultaneously to fold the scooter.

Tip: If the mechanism feels tight, try the following:

  • Push the stem slightly forward and press the folding handle.
  • Or, place your right foot on the footrest, push the stem forward with your left hand, and pull the folding handle with your right hand at the same time. That should do the trick.

If you’re new to using this upgraded mechanism, it might take a few tries to get used to it. Don’t worry, once you get the hang of it, folding and unfolding will feel smooth and natural. Always make sure all locking points are securely engaged before riding, and if you ever feel unsure, refer back to the demo videos or reach out to us for assistance.
