SPLACH Zippy Ultra Manual
Phone Holder Instructions
Please read the following instructions before using the SPLACH Zippy Ultra phone holder.
Charging the Phone Holder
- Before first use, connect the phone holder to a power source using a USB-C charging cable.
- The phone holder contains a built-in battery that powers the touch sensor and motorized clamping arms. Charge the phone holder periodically to ensure that the clamping arms continue to open and close properly.
- When the phone holder battery is fully depleted, the touch sensor and clamping arms will not operate until the holder is connected to power.
- When the detachable power bank is installed in the phone holder, connecting the holder to power can also charge the power bank. The power bank may also be removed and charged separately through its USB-C port.
Installing the Phone Holder
- Attach the phone holder to the appropriate SPLACH Zippy Ultra accessory mount included in your kit.
- Make sure that the phone holder and mount are securely connected before placing your phone in the holder. Installation methods vary depending on the selected mount. Refer to the corresponding mount instructions for installation details.
Placing Your Phone in the Holder
- Touch the finger-icon sensing area located near the upper center of the back of the phone holder. The clamping arms will open automatically.
- Place your phone in the center of the holder. The clamping arms will close automatically and secure the phone.
Wireless Charging
Wireless charging is provided by the detachable power bank, not by the phone holder itself.
To charge your phone wirelessly, make sure that:
- The power bank is correctly installed in the phone holder.
- The phone supports Qi wireless charging.
- The phone is aligned with the wireless charging area of the power bank.
- There are no metal objects, cards, or other foreign materials between the phone and the power bank.
Charging performance may vary depending on the phone model, phone case, alignment, operating temperature, and current phone usage.
Removing Your Phone
Touch the finger-icon sensing area near the upper center of the back of the phone holder. The clamping arms will open automatically, allowing you to remove the phone.
Using the Holder Without an External Power Connection
- The phone holder can operate without being continuously connected to an external power source as long as its built-in battery has sufficient charge.
- If the clamping arms do not respond, connect the phone holder to a power source and allow it to charge before trying again.
Power Bank Instructions
Please read the following instructions before using the SPLACH Zippy Ultra detachable power bank.
Charging the Power Bank
The power bank can be charged in either of the following ways:
- Install the power bank in the SPLACH Zippy Ultra phone holder, then connect the holder to a power source using a USB-C charging cable.
- Remove the power bank from the holder and charge it directly through its USB-C port.
Use a compatible USB-C charging cable and USB power adapter.
The battery level indicator shows the remaining battery level while the power bank is charging or in use.
Installing the Power Bank into the Phone Holder
- Hold the power bank with its charging contacts facing downward, and align the contacts with those inside the phone holder.
- Insert the bottom edge of the power bank into the lower part of the power bank compartment and press it into place.
- Press the top of the power bank inward until it is fully seated in the phone holder.
- Make sure the power bank sits flush within the compartment and is securely held in place.
Removing the Power Bank from the Phone Holder
- Grip both sides of the power bank through the removal grooves on the phone holder.
- Gently pull the top of the power bank outward to release it from the compartment.
- Lift the power bank away from the phone holder.
Do not forcefully pull, twist, or pry the power bank, as this may damage the power bank, phone holder, or charging contacts.
Wireless Charging
Magnetically attach the power bank to a compatible wireless-charging phone and align it with the magnetic alignment ring. The power bank will turn on automatically and begin wireless charging.
While the power bank is attached to the phone, press the power button twice to turn it off and stop wireless charging. Press the power button once to turn it back on and resume charging.
Wireless charging performance may vary depending on the phone model, phone case, alignment, battery level, operating temperature, and current phone usage.
Remove metal objects, cards, keys, coins, magnetic accessories, or other foreign materials from between the phone and the power bank before charging.
Wired Charging
Connect a compatible device to the USB-C port using a USB-C charging cable.
The USB-C port supports wired charging up to 20 W when used with a compatible device and cable.
Actual charging speed depends on the connected device, cable, charging protocol, battery condition, and operating temperature.
Power Button and Battery Level
- Press the power button once to turn on the power bank and display the remaining battery level.
- Press the power button twice to turn off the power bank.
- When the power bank is magnetically attached to a compatible wireless-charging phone, it will turn on automatically and begin charging.
Using the Power Bank Separately
