Installation Notice
The SPLACH TWIN uses an 8" solid tire, and replacing the tire by itself can be difficult because special tools and proper technique are usually required for removal and installation.

If you are not experienced with scooter or tire repair, we do not recommend attempting to replace the solid tire yourself.
Before purchasing the tire, we also strongly recommend checking with a nearby bicycle or scooter repair shop to make sure they have the proper tools and experience to install this type of solid tire.
For this reason, replacing the complete motor tire assembly is often the easier option, especially if suitable installation tools or local repair support are not available.

For the original TWIN setup, select the TWIN (8" Solid Tire) option.
The TWIN can also be converted to pneumatic tires, but the complete motor wheel assemblies must be replaced for the conversion. For this setup, select the TWIN Plus (8.5" Pneumatic Tire) option on the same product page.
One advantage of pneumatic tires is that, if you have a flat in the future, you will normally only need to replace the inner tube.
