Scooters like this come around once in a blue moon. I’ve reviewed plenty of models and it’s not often that I’m taken aback. But, the Turbo is one of those moments, and as a result, I highly recommend it.

Decent Scooter .

Overall , the scooter is decent .
This review is written from a commuting point of view .
Pros ...
1 ) Good price .
2 ) Good climbing ability .
3 ) Very good top speed when needed .
4 ) Folded size is good .
5 ) Good water resistance .
6 ) Looks nice .

Cons...
1 ) Took a long time and a lot of effort to break in the folding mechanism .
In the beginning , I literally had to ram the handlebar with force and speed to get it into the unfolded position . After that , it needed hitting and
coaxing to fully get seated .
Unfolding was nearly as difficult .
2 ) Handles big bumps safely , but ride is not as smooth as I thought it would be . I weigh 160 lbs . With the tires at 40 psi , it's still kinda rough.
3 ) Needs more battery for more range . The price should be a little
higher to provide a 14 ah battery . While I have gotten 22 miles in 'D' [ middle ] mode , 25 - 30 miles would be ideal for round trips.
[ A swappable battery would be perfect ]
4 ) Cannot get the cruise control to work .
I have P12 set to "1" but , it just won't activate .
5 ) Like most scooters , the display is difficult to read in
high sunlight situations .
It would be nice if the display could take a "AAA" or "AA" battery
to boost it .
6 ) Like most scooters , the headlight is positioned way too low .
7 ) Like most scooters , it needs a trolley wheel kit .
This would be really handy for when loading into the rear
of a vehicle so it can be rolled in .
It would also be nice when folding on the ground to have something
to keep the scooter from getting scratched .
8 ) Like most scooters , it needs something to provide options
to attach a blinking/brake light at the rear .
Preferably a telescoping wand ( like old car antennas ) to
get the light up to a usable height so it can be better seen by vehicles from
behind .
9 ) Web page for the Turbo Elite is inconsistent about suspension adjustment .
The first big graphic states that the suspension is manually adjustable .
It needs to specify that the older model has manually adjustable suspension .
[ The "specifications" section shows that the older model suspension is adjustable ]
10 ) Like most businesses , all prices on all/most products use the "99" marketing trickery .

I’m very impressed with the value of the Splach Turbo! Very sturdy aluminum vs most competitors using cheap plastic. It’s fast and sexy.
